How the Heat score works
Every vote is simple: hot or skip. Votes come from the swipe deck on our home page (swipe right for hot, left to skip) and from the Heat Check on every series page.
We don’t rank by raw percentage, because small samples lie. The Heat score is the Wilson lower bound of a series’ hot-vote share: a cautious estimate of how hot it really is, given how many votes it has. More votes mean more confidence and a higher ceiling. In practice, a series with 4 hot votes out of 5 ranks below one with 80 out of 100, even though both sit at 80% hot. Think of it as the score a series can defend, not the one it got lucky with.
- 5-vote minimum: a series needs at least five votes before it gets a Heat score.
- One vote per day: each visitor gets one vote per series per day, so nobody can spam a favorite to the top.
- Live updates: the ranking moves as new votes come in.
The most popular Candy AI Shorts, according to you
Right now the board covers all 23 Candy AI series, free-to-start and Spicy alike. Spicy titles compete on equal terms, so a locked series can still take the crown. We are adding other platforms, and their series will join the same ranking.
The more people weigh in, the sharper the ranking gets. Want to move the needle? Swipe the deck, or open any series and use Heat Check. Haven’t watched anything yet? Our editors’ ranking of the free-to-start series is in the Candy AI Shorts review, and the free episodes guide shows how to sample them at no cost.
